Evening Mass & Lectio Divina
An Evening of Faith & Fellowship
Divinitus warmly invites you to join us for Holy Mass at 7:00pm at St Michael’s, Croydon. Following Mass, everyone is warmly invited to stay for a session of Lectio Divina.
Lectio Divina (Latin for “Divine Reading”) is a traditional Christian monastic practice of slow, prayerful scripture reading. Instead of analysing a text for historical or academic facts, you read the words to listen with your heart and let God speak to you personally.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the centre of our gathering, bringing us together in prayer and worship.
Our Lectio Divina session will provide an opportunity to reflect on Scripture, share our thoughts and experiences, deepen our faith, and build friendships within a welcoming Christian community.
Whether you are a long-standing member of our community or joining us for the first time, everyone is warmly welcome.
