Guided Cathedral Tour
Built on the burial place ofSt Alban, Britain’s first saint and martyr, St Albans Cathedral has welcomed pilgrims, worshippers and visitors for centuries.
Our guided tour will bring this extraordinary history to life, offering a fascinating insight into the Cathedral’s heritage, architecture and continuing role as a place of prayer and worship.
PROGRAMME
11:45am – Meet at the main entrance of St Albans Cathedral.
12:00pm – Guided Cathedral Tour.
1:30pm – Holy Mass.
After Mass
Lunch and fellowship together. Everyone is welcome to bring their own food should they wish to enjoy a picnic together.
Afternoon
Free time to explore the historic city of St Albans.5:00pm (Optional)
Evensong at the Cathedral.
After Evensong
Departure and journey home.
