Alpha & Divinitus
We are currently exploring a collaboration with Alpha, an initiative that creates space for people to explore the Christian faith in an open and welcoming environment.
Through this partnership, we hope to host sessions that encourage meaningful conversations about faith, life, and God, in a way that is accessible to everyone, regardless of where they are on their journey.
Think of Alpha as an “introductory step.” Many churches host an Alpha course as a starting point, and then guide participants into formal, deeper Bible study groups once the course is finished.
Alpha Course
The Alpha Course is a worldwide introductory seminar series that explores the fundamental concepts of the Christian faith in an open, low-pressure environment. It is designed primarily for people who do not go to church or consider themselves Christians, giving them a safe place to ask big questions about life, meaning, and God. It originally started in 1977 at Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) in London and was later re-positioned by vicar Nicky Gumbel as an accessible outreach programme. Today, millions of people take part in the course across more than 100 countries.
Core Structure of a Session
Every Alpha session is completely free of charge and runs around three central elements:
Food & Socialising: Sessions start with a shared meal to help people relax, build friendships, and feel welcome.
The Alpha Talk: Attendees watch a short presentation or video from the Alpha Film Series exploring a vital topic.
Small Group Discussion: Guests break into small tables to voice their thoughts, doubts, or questions without any judgement or pressure to agree
